Chapter 3: Rescue plans
“Humphrey, Humphrey!”  Humphrey slowly woke up and saw Garth, Can-do in Winston, Hutch and Can-do in front of him. “Humphrey are you all right” Garth asked, what happened?” “I was just catching up to Kate’s kidnappers when was attacked by this other wolf, before I fell out cold I got a look at him. He had grey-silver fur and a scar across his left eye”. “Raiko!” Winston said under his breath to himself. “Did you see where they went?” Hutch asked Humphrey. “They went outside the territory and headed north.” “Well we can’t just go outside the boarders, we goanna have to wait till tomorrow and came up with a proper plan.” Garth said. “Okay” said Humphrey with a depressed tone in his voice.  


The next day.  Humphrey, Garth, Hutch, Winston, Eve, Lilly Marcel and Paddy stood outside the main den.


“So according to Humphrey the wolves who kidnapped Humphrey headed north from outside the territory, is that right Humphrey?” Garth said “Yes” “Despite the rain last night their scent might still be fresh, we can follow it to their location”, “And Marcel and I will guide you guys from the air” said Paddy, “Thanks guys” Humphrey said “But we better find her soon, the pups are probably due any day now”.

Just then Violet and Cody walked out of the den. “What’s going on?” Violet asked “Where are daddy and Uncle Humphrey going?” “Last night a group of wolves from outside our territory had kidnaped your aunt Kate so your father is going to help your Uncle find her and bring her back” Lilly said to them.  Garth walked over to his pups, “It’s all right, daddy will be back before you know it”, “Please be home soon” the pups say hugging Garth’s legs.

“Humphrey, you have better get my daughter back or I’ll rip your tail off and shove it down your throat!” Eve said.

“Err okay, so are we all ready to go” Humphrey said, “Ready!” said Hutch, “Ready!” said Marcel and paddy as they started to take flight.

“Ready!” Garth said after Lilly gotten the pups to loosen their grip from him.

“Alright let’s go. Don’t worry Kate I’ll there soon” said Humphrey.

Meanwhile


Kate woke dazed and confused in a dark room. She tried to get up but  then she felt a massive jabbing pain in her legs. Kate looked at them and saw that they deep cut wounds in them.

“Where am I?” she thought. Soon Kate heard some talking from outside the den.

“So why didn’t you take the other one?” “Haven’t you heard, both the western and eastern pack had allied, so we couldn’t risk it.

"Plus we still in war with Shadow’s pack so we couldn’t sir up more trouble”.


“Fine, we’ll kill her tonight, and then we’ll sort out the rest of our troubles”.
